Ms. Reihane’s dream to become a musician brought her to Canada from Iran. She obtained her degree in music from the University of Ottawa in Music Education. Her studies awakened a passion for music pedagogy at the University of Ottawa’s Piano Pedagogy Research Lab. This is where Reihane became a specialist in the examination of mental development in child prodigies and participated in several conferences studying the complex interaction between music and our brains. Reihane is also well versed in the Suzuki method having completed courses with the Suzuki Association of America .
Ms. Reihane currently teaches both violin and viola at Harmony Music School. She enjoys working with students both young and old and thrives from sharing her love of the violin. Ms. Reihane has successfully prepared students for exams, festivals and auditions.
